Hi, apologies for long speak, v new to this Blush. I have two kids, DD in Y1, DS in Reception. I would like to move to area with better high schools, but DH says to choose big house more kids, or small house no more kids. Budget prob wouldn't stretch to big house, great schools. Any opinions / suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I always liked kids better than houses . small house more kids. You wont reach the menopause wishing you had had more bedrooms . IYSWIM.

Small house and more kids. Near the school you like. Shared bedrooms.

i don't understand your post. You have a choice of big house AND more kids, or small house NO more kids? Why is that?

I assumed big house=wrong area for good schools . Houses near school more expensive thus small house only more affordable thus no more kids. ? Is that right OP ?

Thanks for the thoughts, hubby doesn't want kids to share rooms, as would be big gap between first two and next 1/2, I think sharing is fine - would love kids more than big house I am only child and hubby had sisters. He says it's unfair to give them their own rooms now, only to make them share with babies in years to come.
