Aberdeen pool recommendations for baby

Hey, wondering if anyone has any recommendations of a good pool to take my 2 month old swimming? I thought I would take him to a hotel since they often have heated swimming pools but the first one I called (urban village in kingswells) said that I need to go with a member and pay £20. Are there any pools you know of that are good for small babies that I don't need to be a member of or know a member? We're members of Nuffield but I think the pool might be a little cold for him? I also don't want to pay a huge amount when I imagine his first few times to be quite short dips.

Anyone have any recommendations for me?

Thanks in advance!

For a quick dip you could try the beach leisure centre. There's a little pool at the side (no flumes, etc) and it's quite warm. It's just a little baby pool - I used to like taking my little ones there.

Thanks tidyingmargo. I wasn't sure if if would be too noisy/cold etc. But I'm happy to go now based on what you've said. I think we'll be trying it out on Thursday. Thanks for the recommendation!

Britannia hotel in Bucksburn has a pool the public can use. It's small and fairly warm.

Inverurie has a little baby pool, it would be quieter.

A late second vote for inverurie. It has a warm baby pool and plenty of larger cubicles. It took us no longer to drive there than to cross town to the beach.

Sorry to reanimate.
Does Alford have a baby pool? I can't find info on website.

I think the answer is no, as one is not listed on the council website page. My ds (3) goes to Aboyne with dh, he says it's not bad temperature wise. The building at least is heated as if they are also breeding tropical animals.

I know people from the area who go to the Craigendarroch Hilton at Ballater for the baby pool, but that would mean a membership of the country club.

Great thanks. I went to Inverurie, it had a separate baby pool and 31oC. I will go to Aboyne next, it is closer!
