Hi,
I'm looking for the best places to bring up children in the Dorset area. Just wondering if anyone is currently living there with small children and are super happy!! Smile
Which areas are you in?

I live on the Devon/Dorset border and love it here, very happy indeed. I don't think you could go wrong with Dorset ( or Devon) frankly. I'm childfree so can't answer your question specifically but friends who have children tell me its a wonderful way of life for them, lots of freedom and outdoors stuff like fossil hunting on the beach.

yes I do. I live in Dorchester which is only 15 mins away from Weymouth and its beach, and I love all the cute little towns about. I have two children and lots of nice outdoor activities and places to go.

The schools round here are fab too. Eldest has asperger's and is well provided for.

Obviously some areas are nicer than others though.
