without makeup on. Months ago, in a horrific argument which involved lots of immature slagging each other off, I menacingly asked my dh what he thought of me. He said "your alright with makeup, but rough as fuck without it" I had said things to him that were just as bad and had started the argument, but even though he has sworn on my life since then that he didn't mean a word of of it and was just trying to say something hurtful, I just can't forget it!! I'n really insecure about my face when I haven't got a facefull of makeup on so this is getting to me.

He knew your insecure about your face and since you were both in the heat of an argument he used that to his advantage it is what people do. He probably didn't mean it just wanted to hurt you which you admit both of you were doing to each other.

Agree with Sammyuni, I am sure he just said it in anger. I always say thngs I think I mean at the time and the second afterwards I realise it was out of frustration, not actually how I really feel. Take you bloody make up off and be yourself. x
