From anything I have read on this, I think it's an urban myth - also there were silly groups being sent round a while ago. I don't think there is any truth to it. HTH

There is a new application I saw the other day, I didn't sign up for it, but maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

Very unlikely. It goes agains the terms and conditions of using facebook. They remove any applications that claim to do this and could delete user's accounts if they sign up to the application.

There's loads on google about it.

Lots claim they can, but I doubt if any actually can, tbh.

There was one that claimed it left your profile pic on who-ever's profile you looked at, and as proof it would put it there while you browsed said profile. But that is all it did....show YOU your profile pic while YOU looked at said profile.

Does that make sense?

So say, There is an application that people can add that leaves a pic of who-ever looked at their profile. John Smith has this. I looked at John Smith's profile. While I was there. it showed me my profile pic. But when I left, so did my pic. John Smith wouldn't have seen my pic on his profile.

As someone mentioned, that would go against FB's privacy conditions & they would have to share your info & other people's info without permission, which they do not do!

I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense. It is Sunday evening evening here, alcohol has been consumed!

I don't think there is, hwathappened, but I have heard that if you check someone out, you may be sugested to them as a firend. Which is OK, if you have a mutual firend, as that would happen anyway.

Whathappened,

Yes you can BUT only if yourself and your other friends have downloaded that new aplication. So if you don't, then nobody can check on your moves.

Hiya, someone added me on that new application last week, something like 'see who is viewing your profile'. Facebook have removed it - just like WickedWench said
