With comic book store guy.

Figured I may as well give it a shot. I have been doing this online dating thing for a couple of years now and have never actually met anyone. I always end up backing out through nerves and lack of confidence.

Trouble is, I know I'm not physically attracted to the guy. Is this always a problem?

Also, any tips? if it really is terrible, how do I cope?

"Trouble is, I know I'm not physically attracted to the guy. Is this always a problem?" - YES! But it doesn't matter you need to start somewhere.

Good luck, and in case it goes badly could you arrange for someone to call you on your mobile at an appointed time and you can pretend there is an emergency and leave.

He's a very nice man

He was nervous as hell, stuttering ... even shaking I noticed and he did try hard to make conversation, even if it was about stars etc

But seriously, he was very nice, very sweet ... unfortunately there was nothing there from my side so I don't think it will go any further but I'm glad I went.

Oh and he jumps the gun quite a bit which is putting me off the most.

He was talking about all things we can do in summer etc and he's already told his daughter about me.

He was even hinting that he has a 3 bedroomed house, an only uses 2 rooms etc.
