It seems that my sex drive, presumed missing in action for about 9 years (if not longer) has finally returned!

Dh can't stop smiling. I'm feeling a bit shell-shocked as I had got used to the idea of 'putting up' with DH's advances for the rest of my life. Until presumably he got bored.

Sorry if that's TMI for you all but I wanted to share

Did the said SD just come back out of blue,or did you lure it back?

Report
OrmIrian · 23/01/2008 13:01

Out of the blue jumpingbeans. On the scale of things in my life that were bothering me, it was quite near the bottom. But I'm glad to see it again.

Very, but I spent last weekend polishing it and now it is shiny and new and better than ever

Are you sure it's yours Orm? Can you just check and see if you've not accidentally found mine? I put my name on it in tippex.

Report
OrmIrian · 23/01/2008 13:20

Weellll I'll check brocolli. But I'm fairly sure it's mine.

well done you! I honestly think that I would not be bothered if I never had sex again . Not 'cos I don't want dh but just 'cos I would rather sleep than do anything else. dh does get pissed off then rants and causes ill feeling but we get over it. We do have sex occasionally but it pisses me off it i see it getting beyond around 11pm! did it just come back . Odd!

OrmIrian · 23/01/2008 14:37

I'm not keen on late night shenanigans either cruisemum. I need my sleep especially as DH is getting up for work at 5.30am atm.

Yes it just came back. I did wonder if it's because I've got a little fitter and a little slimmer but that's been an ongoing process for years now. Who knows??

Good point hoxtonchick! I did stop bfing (after nearly 11 years of bfing and/or pregnancy) a few months ago but since then I'd been ill and work had been stressing me out hugely... I wonder...

mind you i am 42, dh is 52, we have a 10yo dd and a 16mo ds and have been together for 18 years. So it is not like we are in the heady early stages of a relationship. All rather boring really
