My dp is really pi**ing me off.

This month yet again he has hardly contributed anything towards the housekeeping, bills, credit card etc etc. (£200) to be exact. He is self employed and can work the five days I don't. Our bills each month total around £1100. I only work two days a week and my wages just pay the essentials, such as the mortgage, utilities and credit cards. I cannot buy food or pay for emergencies when things go wrong.

If I worked full time and he stayed at home and looked after the kids I would earn more than enough to pay everything.

He is a complete caveman and will not stay at home more than the two days a week he already does, basically because he is an egocentric male.

We have had a huge barny and he says he will get a contracted job full time earning a lot less than I would (him working monday to friday means I would have to give up my job)

Shall I beat him over the head with the frozen turkey??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Happy christmas to you all XXXX

You should be grateful hes not like that lazy arse git in EastEnders - the one that sits in his armchair all day watching the box & refusing to work.

Why cant you both work FT? is it because of the childcare costs?
