So, I went into my phone companies shop to enquire about getting the Internet. I live in a city with a local phone monopoly where you have to pay the local company for line rental on top of anything with sky BT etc.
The bloke who dealth with my enquire was very nice and I just thought it was just his sales patter. He said he would order in me a box to come the best day so I could get cheap Internet. I never went back to buy it as I went with the local monopoly but I did think he was rather cute.
Now five or so months passed and he messages me on POF and were meeting for a drink next week 😄 He knows that we've met before in Real Life, he recognised me and remembered our conversation in the shop.
I may have a rather big grin on my face. Compounded by the fact I went on a shitty shitty date today!

I've been seeing a guy I met on tinder for about 2 months now. When we met his first words were "did your kids go to xxxx school, I'm sure I remember seeing you?" bearing in mind he was talking junior school any DC are now 18 & 19, it was quire flattering that I'd made enough of an impression that he remembered me 10yrs down the line!

Hope it continues to be lovely for you Flowers

Fingers crossed :) we've been whatsapping and he's funny.

Shitty date was strange, he talked at me, long stories, so I didn't really get chance to speak. When there was a little lull I would say something, he would then just not react at all to what I'd said and would start a new long story. Not sure if it was a nerves thing.
He was also really judgemental and had really fixed viewpoints. Oh and he lied about his height Hmm

He text me after I'd got home and asked if I'd like to get a coffee at the weekend. I just replied saying I didn't think we were that well suited but thanks for the offer. He didn't reply 😄

Oh dear..... you were an ear for his monologues??

Yep I believe so.
He also didn't like it when I objected to his use of the phrase 'mutton dressed as lamb.'

It's a good thing I have several irons in the fire!

Yeh that would have made me bristle too. What a dreadful expression. Like, older women have to dress apologetically?

Indeed. Also apparently tattoos that don't have meaning behind them are 'stupid'

I pointed out my tattoos don't have any meaning, I just think they're pretty. He didn't like that either Grin
He seemed alright via text as well!

Met up with phone shop man last night, I remember why I flirted with him. There's definitely something there. I may be smiling like a 14 year old. He made me laugh so much my cheeks were hurting!
