Can you recover deleted Facebook conversations?

Usual sad story. Won't bore you with the details, and think it's a case of LTB but want to get my ducks in a row first, so does anyone know if it's possible to recover deleted private conversations on Facebook please

Not that I know of, and I've just tried with one of mine.

If you're having to do that it suggests some fairly major trust issues (not judging, I'd want to see evidence as well), are you okay?

Are you sure they're deleted and not just archived? Click on "more" then "archived".

You could also try downloading a copy of your facebook data by:

• Go to settings
  
• General settings
  
• very bottom is "download a copy of your facebook data".
  

I don't delete messages though so I can't say I've checked it that works but can't hurt to try!

Trust has gone, with good reason, just morbid curiosity left really.
I'm not okay at all, numb with sadness for what might have been.

Yes, kind of! At the bottom of the messages it will show - other messages, archived messages Etc. Click on archived messages. They should be there unless he's deleted them there also!
