My boyfriend keeps saying that I look too old, I am only on my 30s, but started to depeloped some broken veins and open pores.

I usually have facials treatment but it doesn't rejuvenate my skin only clear the blackheads.

I really need to do something or I will probably lose him Sad

Dump him as I am sure he isn't a doppleganger for Brad Pitt.

if you are going to lose him because you have open pores then wave him goodbye and wish him luck in dating 20 yr olds for the rest of his life. And he may have to put up with spotty skin in exchange for the broken veins and pores.

I assume he is a fine figure of manhood with no small defects?

Nothing wrong with looking after your skin but to do it because a boyfirend might leave you is the slippery slope to a hellish and neurotic life.

What a horrible man.
Why do you care if you 'lose' him if he has an attitude like this toward you?

Out of interest, what does he look like?

Has your haggard appearance worsened during the time you have spent with this idiot?

Can you see a link there?

Lol re. Troll :)

Mind you, one of my ex DP's complaints about me was that I have a hair growing on my chin.

No word of a lie, and he was twenty stone bald and had a bad temper....thank god he is an ex now (shudder)

i don't know if it bollocks, though.

my ex used to complain about my appearance all the time.

but then he got a really horrible skin condition that's stumped the doctors and he has looked hideous for a few years.

my soon to be ex suffered horrendous acne for about ten years of our relationship. I encouraged him repeatedly to get to the doctor and see a consultant, not that it bothered me but it did impact upon his self esteem. It finally calmed down after taking roaccutane. He said one of the reasons why he left me was that I was getting old (3 years separate us) and had wrinkles. So I can believe this.
