Mountain Buggy Urban Breeze owners... What car have you got? And any of you used these with buggy boards?

Would it fit into Astra? MB website says would fit into Golf without taking off wheel, but have read a review on MN which says otherwise.

Am looking for a buggy that would be a useful alternative to my double. I know nothing of buggyboards, but am assuming getting something sturdier than my mclaren would help?

TIA

Do you really mean urban breeze? I haven't heard of an urban breeze - but there is a breeze and an urban jungle. I have both - the breeze would fit into an Astra no problems - unless the boot has a strange shape - it fits in an Audi A3 and an Seat Leon no problems.

If you mean the urban jungle then you would really want to check as it will not fit into either car without us putting one of the back seats down. Seeing as the A3 and the Golf are supposed to have the same chassis - i don't think that applies to the urban jungle unless they have changed it. Even taking the wheels off wouldn't help as the buggy is too long and the front wheel folds under.

Most shops will let you try putting one into the car before you buy.

MB are pretty good for buggy boards and yes v v v sturdy

They are fab buggies though - definitely recommend them.
