Mountain Buggy hood keeps falling off

My pushchair is the old style +One / Plus One and tje hood sort of goes on over the fabric but there are small gaps between the plastic push on hood bits and the fabric/frame. Is this normal or is there anything I can do to fix this myself?

It's happening every five minutes and it's driving me mad now, any bump in the path or knock from child and off it pops.

Hi, did you find a solution in the end? I have just bought a Mountain Buggy Swift from eBay, and have this problem too. It drives me mad! I can't believe there aren't more posts on this thread!
