Broken uppababy vista-can they be repaired?

I have a 2013 vista, annoyingly out of warranty by about 2 weeks. Trying to unfold it earlier, it jammed and now won't open or close.
Does anyone know how I can go about getting it repaired- live in north west. My dh thinks I am naive, and that we will just have to buy a new buggy as "these things don't get repaired, they just want you to buy a new one". Given that it cost over £600, I'm not impressed. No-one answering on the uppababy uk helpline Hmm

I'm not sure if they can be fixed (id really hope so though!) - but they've always been very quick at responding via email if you can't get through on the phone.

If you are in London, then somewhere like the buggy pitstop might be able to help - or worth seeing if there's something similar near you. Good luck!

Wow sorry to hear that! Have you tried their website? I heard they lost their Which Best Buy rating because the chassis broke when they tested it, maybe worth getting the whole thing looked over?

Thanks. Their website has a number which didn't get me anywhere but as you said they did respond quickly by email. Turns out John Lewis where it was bought can arrange a repair(no indication how much yet) IF I can find proof of purchase. Currently crossing fingers that parents can find it as they bought it!!

They also said buggypitstop could help but as I'm not in London and it doesn't fold up I have no idea how I could realistically get it to them for less than the cost of a new pram.

By way of an update, the lovely folks at john lewis got it repaired and serviced for me, for free! Because it was "only just outside" the warranty period.
Picked it up today and is fine. Definitely pays to get stuff in JL when they sell what you want.
