Best pushchair for a tall 2 1/2 year old

I need suggestions as to which pushchairs are roomy enough for a tall 2 1/2 (closer to 3 year old) boy. Had to stop using the oyster because he is too tall for it, back to using the big silver cross sleepover which is perfect size wise but killing me to push because he's heavy Hmm

Hello,

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the product recommendations are a little out of date. We've spent weeks speaking to parents and testing out lightweight strollers and buggies. Here's our round up of the best buggies available to buy now

Hope that helps!

silver cross pop I bought it for my 2 and a half year old, and it's so roomy and comfy for him. He's tall and when sat in it his feet are no where near the floor. I only wish I'd found it sooner Smile

M&P Armadillo, Maclaren XT and Bugaboo Bee have all been big enough for my tall 2 1/2 yo. Maclaren not great to push, Bee very pricey but liked them all.

Huge vote for BabyJogger City Mini. DS is a ridiculously tall nearly 4 year old and can still squeeze into it for big days out in London where he may need a kip or we'll be covering huge distances (though realise now we haven't used it since May). It's been a total workhorse, the hood is brilliant, as is the recline.

ICandy Peach, it has a hood you can raise up plus you can pop up the footrest at the bottom so their feet don't touch the metal work - DD has only just moved from the carry cot to the seat so is still quite small in there but it's good to know she will be able to stay in the seat for as long as she needs to

I have the BabyJogger City Mini GT. It fits my 3.2 yr old DD with ease, the seat is really tall.

It also has an adjustable handle bar which is good for making the pushchair more manoeuvrable. I have looked high and low for a good puchchair for a 3-4 year old and this is really it I think.

Baby jogger city mini. My nearly 5 year old occasionally jumps in and isn't too squished. (They are also the best pram ever for several other reasons)

We've got the Oyster Lite - which, counter-intuitively, seems a lot bigger than the Oyster and is really easy to steer, light and folds up smallish

Thanks everyone, it needs to be something that is parent facing due to health reasons, sorry should've said that. I was wondering about the silver cross 3d as the seat unit on my sleepover is still plenty big enough
