Does anyone have a Mamas and Papas Zoom?

I have just started using the pushchair attachment with DS who is 4 months and I'm a bit perplexed about the harness.

The bottom strap that goes under the crotch seems really short, meaning that it's fastening on DS's crotch rather than around his middle. It looks a bit uncomfortable and means the side straps are cutting into his legs. It's not too too bad now but I'm worried it'll get worse as he gets bigger.

Is it supposed to be like this or have I got a dud?

I have a cheap stroller I bought for holidays which doesn't have this issue as the equivalent strap is much longer so that's what makes me think this isn't supposed to be like that.

So can any Zoom owners please shed some light on this?

I will look at mine today and come back to you. From memory don't think the central crotch strap extends, think it does clip together over that area rather than waist but the shoulder harness is adjustable to size and there are 3 options in addition to position the shoulder straps through the back of the seat to get a better body length fit.

My son used the pram off and on until he was 2.6 and seemed comfortable enough. From memory, Moomin's description sounds right.

Have checked mine and 4 out of the 5 straps are adjustable for length, so you should be able to loosen the two bottom side straps to make it fit better. The two on top are length adjustable and also have 3 further slot choices in the back seat of the pram as the baby gets bigger you move the strap up a slot. Hope that makes sense

I still use mine with 2 1/2 yr old Ds abduction no issues with the straps. The bottom one doesn't adjust but the others do so it fits ok.Have been very happy with my zoom:-)
