UPPABABY vista, BUGABOO buffalo or STOKKE Xplory?

My main point is that I want the baby to sit as high up as possible... anyone know how much is in it between these three?

2nd point would be that I want to be able to go over rough terrain like fields sometimes (though with my firstborn I just used a sling so not the be all and end all)

3rd point is I want space for some shopping... I'm guessing Xplory's handlebar wont take any shopping bags?

Is there any other high seated option on the market that I've missed?

Hi there. I've had the Uppabay Cruz, not the Vista and the Xplory. A friend has the Vista. I changed to the Xplory because I had back problems and couldn't lift my baby out of a lower bassinet. The bassinet on the Xplory is significantly higher than both the Uppababys. The pushcair bit is higher but not by as much. Probably 3". But it means I can lift my baby out without bending and with the Uppababy I would have to bend over still. Baby loves being high up. Suspension better than Uppabay Cruz but may not be different to Vista. Overall I like the Xplory a lot because of the height and smooth ride. Also narrower than the Vista by 6cm. The shopping bag though is awful. No space for anything and it drives me mad. I do have one hook on the handles (Velcro wrap around as normal big buggy hook doesn't fit) but I only put very lightweight stuff in there. So I split heavy in the Xplory bag and light on the handle.

Hope that helps a little.

Also, Xplory not great for rough terrain. Copes with grass in a park fine. Much more than that would be a challenge I think but that's guesswork, I've not tried it off roading as such!

Another thought, sorry. I know you didn't ask this but the Xplory takes up a huge amount of boot space. All of it. Very strange folding mechanism. That said, I do love it just because of baby being so high up. She looks super comfy as well.

The jane trider would do the high seat and handle over rough ground but would say the shopping basket is pretty small. It's also quite big when folded but does go a lot smaller with seat unit and wheels removed which is extremely easy to do and takes seconds.

I think they're all OK but I would recommend icandy peach3 - mine came with riser bars that lift the seat up higher and closer to me, which means more space for the basket underneath. It's good for off-road too as it's got rubber wheels rather than the air ones which everyone tells me burst all the time!
