Pushchairs

Is there really much difference in performance of Versa and Versa GT?

I'm looking for a reversible, easy-fold down pushchair and have narrowed my search down to the Baby Jogger Versa. I am struggling to decide which version. I like country walks so am tempted by the GT wheels but from what I've read they don't claim to be all-terrain so I'm wondering exactly how much the different wheels improve the performance over rougher ground. Does anyone know?! I've fallen a bit in love with a red one but only the standard version comes in other colours - the GT is black only. I'm prepared to give up my red dream if the GT is noticeably better performance-wise.

I went for the GT (which we love) as we live in the sticks and wanted something as rugged as possible. I only tested the normal version in the shop, but I remember thinking that it felt a tiny bit more flimsy (relatively soaking - they're both very sturdy!) and had more suspension so did feel a bit more springy, which personally I wasn't as keen on.

The GT is a teensy bit heavier but doesn't feel particularly heavy to push to me, although I don't really have anything to compare it to! Heavyish when folded though but it's such a great pushchair that I can compromise on that.

Just seen Tiggy's reply on your other thread - I agree! I do find the GT very nice to push, even if it is a little on the heavy side.

I have the normal in red and love it. It's very bouncy and easy to manoeuvre. Haven't tried the gt though. X
