stroller for buses?

I'm currently using a phil and teds for my 2.2 year old but I'm 23 weeks pregnant and there is an increasing number of double decker buses on our route at the moment and I'm struggling with folding the buggy and getting it on the bus with my very unsteady toddler in tow. I use the buses a lot for the school run, toddler groups etc and I'm looking for a buggy that is light and easy to fold but not too flimsy and ideally suitable for a newborn as well as my toddler (not at the same time though). I can't try one out as I don't have a car but I'm nervous about spending a lot of money on something that I haven't tried first. I had one of those £15 ones from argos before and it was rubbish, by the time my DC was strong enough to sit in it without sliding around, they were so heavy, it was awkward to push.

The easiest to fold which would be suitable for both would be the baby jogger city mini, but its pricey.

Otherwise any umbrella fold suitable from birth would work. Maclaren techno XT or the newest quest would be ideal and good to push (a world away from those cheap Argos ones).

I would probably go for the Quest if you are buying from new.

I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and use the icandy peach, I have no trouble with getting this on and off buses. But the icandy strawberry folds all in one so this may be better for you. xxx
