Hi
need to move to a smaller lighter buggy, but really don't like 'buggy' buggys - ie maclarens etc... so 'think' the zapp xtra does everything I want it too... main advantage is rear facing... but what are the downsides? also going to ahve a look at the petite star zia and the babyjogger city mini (seem to be a few BJ ones that are similar but not sure the differences)

any thoughts greatly appreciated!!
thanks :)

Just seen in a review a recommendation to get the old style zapp and then just the new zapp xtra seat unit (£99) as for about the same price you have both seat options... only down side i can see is basket not included with the Zapp... BUT is there any difference at all in the frame/wheels/how the seat fits?

What about the P&T smart?
The verso adaptors are due for release this month, they will allow it to be both forward and rearward facing.

I've got the Smart, and have pre-ordered the verso adaptors. They were due to be despatched this month so due sometime soon. Personally I prefer it to the Zapp I had when DS2 was little.
There are a few pics of them on the Phil&Teds Facebook photos page, owners put their photos up for people to see.
Have a look and see what you think.

I am a quinny caster and testing it at the moment. It is extremely lightweight, i too love the seat options. The xtra does come with a basket - not the world's biggest but does have enough space for basics.

I am using the quinny footmuff from a Buzz which I bought off ebay and it fits great.

ZAPP XTRA - great idea but I don't like that the seat doesn't sit up properly in parent facing mode.

Hate my zapp Sad In rear facing mode i keep smacking my shins on the metal seat edge Sad Loved the idea though and I was sooooooooo excited about it but was really disappointed
