What the cost for a removals company

We're staying local but have heavy furniture so what can I expect to pay?

We paid around £750/800 to move from a 3 bed house around the corner (no packing etc). we are in a commuter town outside London so I would imagine price depends on where you live.

we paying £500 to move 5 mins away from 2 bed to 3 bed, but thats what we have got all day, one fee no additional charges

I paid £750 removals only from a 4 bed house to 5 miles up the road. This is in Nottingham and seemed the going rate from quotes I had.

Get several quotes - it depends where you are, where you are moving too and how much stuff you have.
