We're thinking of having an extension over our garage, in the South East, can anyone give me an idea of how much we should expect to pay for the drawings? TIA

I'veheard people paying a thousand or so for detailed drawings, but if you want design and support during the building phase it would be several thousand. We're paying near 7k including vat, but you don't know how glad we are to have professional backup when things went wrong. The SE cost another 2k.
Our extension is much more complicated then yours though.

I'm in the Home Counties & this month received a letter from our chosen architect confirming their fees (from the initial meeting to coming up with new floorplans, to submitting & amending accordingly if needed) for a total of £2100 start to end.

This doesn't include the planning application fee of £172 or any charges a structural surveyor etc may charge.

Hope this helps.
