We need to replace our double glazing. How much should I expect to be quoted? And where/who has the the best value for money?

We have 2 large (ish) Windows, 5 medium Windows and 2 small Windows.

Front door and side panel, back door and French doors are optional.

I'm just after a ball park rough sort of figure as I have no idea what to expect and I don't want to get screwed over!

We got ours from a reputable local firm. Ask any builders that you know who to go to. Avoid the nationwide companies! We paid around £1400 for bays which will always be much more expensive. Other windows were in the £250-500 range. From memory it was around £350 for standard square 1200 x 1200 windows. We're in the south east if that makes any difference.

Avoid the bigger national chains they are out to sign up there and then and don't give you a proper quote.

I've just replaced 10 windows of various sizes and a set of patio doors for £4000 all in.

Depends on style also. We are going for 7 sash Windows, 6 of which are very large. Looking at 6-7k

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have sourced a local company so will see what their quote is like.
