Hello, any locals about to tell me about these 2 areas that I'm considering for a move please?

Are they good for tourists? (Would want to run some kind of small scale accommodation)

Have a primary school aged children so need to know about schools (Inc Secondary) too please :)

Thanks

Don't know those areas but I've never heard a positive word about Craven Arms.

I don't know about many areas with the exception that Highley is apparently not too great. Craven Arms is a bit of an odd place really - I can't say I like it but the surrounding areas are lovely.

We've just bought 6 miles west of Ludlow and will be moving soon. It's... ahem... very much like going back in time Grin. If you don't mind it taking 4 generations before you're 'accepted' then great!

Accommodation around there is particularly cheap for small properties, even in high season, and there are many, many, many one bedroom holiday cottages on the market. Just make sure you do your research and find your target market.

Where are you moving from?

And if you're intending on staying for a long time then you'd be better in Bridgnorth itself, for your DCs sake - it's at least closer to things going on and a relatively decent road network, being about half an hour to Birmingham. Further South is really quite cut off and getting anywhere useful is a bit of a drag. Depends what you want!
