Painting exterior of house- advice on colours please?

We moved a couple of years ago into a house on the coast. It's an early 1930 cottage with a 1990's extension at the side. For context, there are other 1920/30s houses on one side of the street, and some 1970s bungalows on the other. The beach is less than a minutes walk.
Our house is a creamy white and the window frames are wooden and stained brown, which makes them look very dated imo. I would much prefer them white/off-white, which fits with the remainder of the other old properties in the street.
If I was to post some pictures, can you tell me what you would go for if it were your house? My initial thoughts are off white frames and fascias, and grey-blue for the sills and front door but I'm open to discussion from people with better taste than myself :) it's going to cost over £1k so I want to be happy with how it turns out, and not want to redo it in a year.

We aren't painting the house as our budget won't stretch to everything and the house itself is fine. The windows and fascias need done soon though, as the wood is becoming exposed. So we need to make sure the colours tie in with the creamy white.
That sage shade is lovely, Chish.
Redhat, that sounds lovely. Hope it turns out well.
