Bathroom flooring that can be laid over existing laminate?

Does such a thing exist? Current flooring less than two years old but was a really bad buy (cracking and chipping). Can't face ripping it all up if we could use it as underlay or similar...

You could pay more laminate over the top but just take it up. It won't be a good base for anything and could have a negative impact on the new gloor's stability.

Laminate is a floating floor - it isn't fixed to the subfloor so it's really not a good idea to put other flooring on top of it. Vinyl flooring needs to be fitted on a smooth subfloor so needs hardboard or marine ply underneath it. Just take the chipped laminate up, it will probably take 10 minutes.

Bugger, suspected as much. Will a bathroom floor fitter be able to move the toilet etc, or will ii need a plumber, too?

If you take out the screws securing the toilet bowl to the floor you can probably slide the laminate out from under it and depending what you choose instead that may be okay to slide under it then screw the toilet back down. I'm sure someone on here will be able to tell you how to move the toilet yourselves without using a plumber though.
