Bath Panel

Hi

I am trying to fit a new MDF bath panel using magnetic catches so it can easily be removed. However, I am having difficulty in lining up the magnets on the panel with the catches that I have already fitted to the frame under the bath. Somehow I need to mark the positions on the panel but it's proving to be a bit of a headache.

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this please?

Thanks in advance

Could you use a wad of blu tack or something else which will take the impression of the magnets on the fixed panel when the other one is held up to it?

Mark the magnets with lipstick (easily washed off) and then put the panel against it so that the lipstick marks the back of the panel? I do this when putting mirrors or frames up Grin

Or rub Engineer's Blue on one surface so it leaves a mark when you press the other part against it.

If you have run out of Engineer's Blue, use lipstick.
