Farrow and Ball floor paints - grey

I'm trying to choose a Farrow and Ball floor paint for my wooden stairs. I love grey, so I'm wondering about Purbeck stone, Elephant's breath and Dove tale. I'm also wondering about darker grey too - Mole's breath or Plumett. Does anyone have any advice? The stairs don't get a lot of natural light, and currently have a mid-brown carpet (which looks okay).

The rest of the decor will (eventually) be finished to complement the floor paint choice. And the stairs will be next to original pine floorboards (golden) at the top, and a different wooden floor (TBC) at the bottom. I'd like a slightly minimal / cottage-y feel in the end I suppose.

DH and I are clueless about all of this Grin, but we're hoping it will all work out okay if we just choose things that we like.

We have moles breath and (another paler grey). It is lovely but quite dark if the space is already dark.

Mole's breath is lovely superram, I can just imagine it against nice bright woodwork and walls. I don't know how much to be concerned about the light issue - we're planning on having a light put in at the bottom of the stairs (yes, I have an odd house), and we'd like to get a new front door that lets a little more light in, and to change the door from the living room to let more light through...

superram, is it specifically floor paint that you have? I wonder if the slight sheen makes the colour look significantly darker?
