moving kitchen waste pipe?

We live on the 2nd floor of a Victorian semi-detached and the kitchen is on the corner of the house (rather than against the party wall). I've been thinking of getting a dishwasher, but to fit it into our tiny kitchen we'd have to move the waste pipe in some way. Is it difficult to move the waste pipe without scaffolding on? We have scaffolding for the time being because exterior works but it will soon be coming down. Should I try to get a plumber in ASAP?

We need photos of the outside, also to know where you plan to move it to.

The person who fitted that socket under the waste pipe, with the switch hidden behind a drawer, is an idiot.

I haven't managed to be home while it's light out so the photo of outside is yet to come....

re: silly/unsafe socket under waste pipe, I completely agree. The flat was bought this way. I installed the drawers because before that it was an unusable cabinet!
