Vado showers - any experience

Looking at showers for bathrooms. Saw a great deal on Mira excel shower and thought it would save some ££ - can't really afford too much as over runs on the overall project (doing lots) so grohe off the list I think.
The company I was buying from has recommended a Vado instead. Great deal including drencher and mini shower head.
But I've never heard of them.
Anyone got Vado showers?
Any good?

I haven't got one but my local bathroom place rates them. I think they have a 10 year guarantee.

Tks for that. Our local shop is keen on Vado too and has recomended them over Mira ("old style so real upgrades in years") or grohe ("plastic parts").
Plumber says Vado are good enough brand but only been around 5 years so eg Mira or grohe better to be sure of reliability.
Any one else got experience on this or thoughts on these brands?

We're onto house renovation #2, and have put in Vado taps again as we liked them last time. I know showers are different, but still :)

Our plumber says not to get showers with a bar valve (the horizontal thing with turn-y bits on each end).

We've used aqualisa again in this house - admittedly not the cheapest but they are lovely. Aqualisa comes up a lot cheaper if you look online, Vado prices seemed a lot less variable.

Thanks Happy. I do like the look of Vado. Not sure how new they are to showers though and once they are embedded in the wall, it's so expensive to deal with if anything goes wrong. Will look at aqualisa also.

One last check in case anyone has a Vado shower. I really like them but don't want to risk something without knowing its reputation.
