Namechanged for this because it would out me obviously, but would anyone like to see my house? The agent came round and took the photos on Thursday and there it is in all its glory on Rightmove this morning. Would appreciate any ideas on how to best present for viewers. We are relocating to the south-east so need to sell fast.
Here it is! my house
lovely kitchen.
your house is gorgeous, why are you moving?
Your home is gorgeous, I am very
.
Also, I can't believe the house prices there, where I live (Channel Islands) that house would be about £900k!
Thanks MrsJR. We've been in the house 10 years and completely redecorated, but we only just did the kitchen extension a year ago. I will miss it so much, but I know it is what will sell the house for us. The garden is on the small side though.
Dita -we have to relocate. We have spent 10 years making the house what we wanted and I am gutted to be leaving it especially as we will not be able to afford anything so nice where we are going.
Slainte - I know
What a fantastic kitchen. Almost tempted to ask if I can relocate to the local plant there although I know it wouldn't be permitted.
beautiful!
love the hall floor and kitchen
The house is stunning and a gorgeous part of the country.
I'm gutted for you
Its a lovely house, how do you keep it so tidy and clutter free? Why is there no pics of the bathrooms?
Do you want to swop!
Your house is perfect!
If it was here it would be around the 1mill mark.
Where are you moving to?
When my DH worked in the NW he was offered redundancy or move to London.
The company subsidised our mortgage for ten years because of the price difference. otherwise we could never have afforded the move.
good luck, will sell quickly I'm sure.
I could live in that kitchen
Claimed - we have rented a storage unit and did a big declutter last week. There are no pix of the bathrooms because the agent said as they are not particularly large they wouldn't be able to get a good angle. I was concerned people would think they weren't nice enough to show! Especially as the shower room in particular has been recently created from what was the box room and though small is rather lovely.
It's lovy
What happens to the ceiling above the table? Is it a glass lantern thing?
And in your hall, below the dado is that anagypta (sp?)
Sorry, no stalking hints just nicking decorating ideas!
lovely house
huge rooms
i would get the outside photo redone and tidy up the wall fence
the wall looks like it has weed growing out it
now if they are plants get photos with them in flower if not tidy them up
curbside appeal
lovely house
shame about the garden but if you sell to family with older/teenages brillant house
good luck and hope you find some as nice down south
SELLLING! Not stalking
Lovely house kitchen and hallway wow. Would suggest smaller bed/furniture in the smaller rooms the bed with the yellow throw looks too big for the room IYSWIM
One hundred - yes it is a roof lantern above the table. Could have got a better picture. The hallway wallcovering under the dado is the original Victorian lincrusta like this stuff.
Jane - I see what you mean about the outside wall. I'll sort it out, I think we could get a better outside picture anyway.
Wishful - it is the spare room, hence the double bed, but doesn't leave much extra space in the room, I agree.
The lincrusta (new word ofvthe day
) is REALLY lovely. I'd buy it for that alone
Gorgeous, you should get viewings on the kitchen alone, it's just the kind of thing I would like!
Lovely, lovely house. Agree about the room in pic 15 with the double bed - frankly it looks awful & I'd move the bed out & just have it as a study if I couldn't put a single in there.
My gosh, what a gorgeous house. I'm so jealous.
For me, it's the kitchen but also the side 'verandas'. Gives it a lovely New England feel. Oh if only I could...
That's a fabulous house....hope it goes quickly.
