So, I've cleared out the conservatory, what should I do with it?

Since we had it built, we haven't really found a successful use for our conservatory. Now that I've removed all the junk, it is actually quite spacious and light. It is off the kitchen and opens out onto the garden. It is not heated, so gets very cold in winter.

What do you use your conservatory for? How can I make it a useful space, rather than the dumping ground it has been up till now?

TIA

Breakfast room? Playroom?

Buy a plug-in heater for winter.

I don't have one but if I did I would put some kind of heating in, like those electric or oil filled radiators (or perhaps there is something more suitable I'm not very up on my heating!)

Then I would have a sofa and use it as a play room. Or maybe put the dining table in there and turn the dining room into a playroom/snug if that would be more practical.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think if we could get the heating sorted, we would have more options as we could use it all year round. I like the idea of a play room as opposed to a place to dump all the toys that it has been! Now that dd is 7, she is not so into the piles of plastic crap and could have a proper place to do hobbies.

That would be nice, you could have a sofa, toy storage and a table and chairs that DD can use to paint/craft etc on. Presumably it has a tiled floor so clean up would be easier.

PigletJohn is a good one to ask on here about heatingy things, why don't you give him a shout out ? - He will point you in the direction you need to go!

Why not think of it more as a craft room than a play room then. I find play rooms en up being dumping grounds, where as a craft room with a table kids can do art etc at gets used more.
