I've just been to a flooring showroom and seen a beautiful brushed oak engineered floor, finished with hardwax oil. Would I be mad to buy it for our new kitchen-diner?
Those of you who have such a floor, does the dirt end up in the tiny 'brushing' grooves and make it impossible to clean? I am really not the kind of person likely to get down on my hands and knees to clean the floor with with a toothbrush:) But I could probably manage a damp cloth every now and again...
Any advice appreciated from those in the know.
