New bath, too many options...help

Our current bathroom has only a shower in it & we want to change to shower and bath.

We had it all planned out: corner shower unit and freestanding bath, both quite neat in size but apparently popular sellers. All ready to order from Victoria Plumb.

However, today DH and I went in to Bathstore to look at mirrored cabinets and when we were there I said, Will you get in to a couple of baths so I can see how deep they should be.

Well he didn't fit into the bath size we had picked out. He looked like Gulliver. And the neat corner shower? Could barely close it around himself (he is 6'4" and 17 stone)

So we have decided to get a bath with shower in it instead. We have 1800 x 900 to play with, so can go big. The only thing is that baths with showers look ugly compared to the freestanding bath we had picked out. I don't like the bath panels, I don't like the screens that fold back on themselves.

Lovely mumsnetters, have you got any ideas for nice looking baths with showers in them? Any suggestions gratefully received, we are doing the installation in two weeks.

TIA

Have you looked at Bette baths? They do a good range of smart baths.
In terms of shower screens, look at ones which dont fold, they look better I think.
Sorry I cant recommend any in particular, we are in the process of sorting out a new bathroom so am not there yet in terms of what to choose.
This looks smart I think

You don't need to stick with the bath panel that fits the bath. You make one to your own taste- tiled, tongue and groove. Get a wider than standard bath if having a shower over - Bathstore offer this one some of their baths, And take note of the capacity it holds to get an idea of how deep it is. Ours is from there and I like it as it is very plain and simple with no curvy bits.
