What colour titles with Wickes heritage grey kitchen - help!

Hi....
Can any one help, we have ordered the Hertiage grey kitchen, with a brown earthstone worksurface (chocolate brown with sparkly flickers in it) and now i have no idea what colour to get for titles / splashback.. and we wanted to get a stained wooden floor (so fairly dark)

Has anyone else chosen tiles for this kitchen and what did they go with, Should we just go for a white / cream title otherwise it might look too dark? or a mix of white / greens - it is so difficult to match too ( i love the kitchen and want to do it justice!
Thanks for any help
Sammy

I think I'd go with white or a very pale cream (more of an off white really).

Metro tiles like this would look nice IMO

Do you need tiles? We have this kitchen (it's gorgeous and gets loads of compliments) and don't have tiles. All we have is a glass splashback behind the hob. That's probably not much help if you've decided you want tiles - and why shouldn't you have tiles? It's a free world.

PM me if you'd like a pic of ours to get the idea.

Good luck, and enjoy your kitchen!

Thanks, yes i think off white / cream is what we were thinking, but why tiles great point ... i do not know i just assumed i would to keep the kitchen cleaner .. but that is a fair point and one i had not considered

Thank you for the help and thoughts...

I find that having wipeable walls is literally cleaner than the grout-grot we had in our old kitchen, as well as creating a cleaner look stylistically. But I'm doing it again - trying to get everyone else to have the same as me!

Hi

Sorry for hijacking the thread, I'm thinking about this kitchen too (looks gorgeous on the website), going to have a look tomorrow.

hobnob I've cheekily pm'd you for a piccie Blush

Sammy do you mind me asking if you've used wickes for everything? I've been reading MN threads all evening and I'm a bit bamboozled!

Oooh Sammy sounds lovely!

I was thinking the same as mincie or you could have a brushed steel splashback with a white shelf above it.
