Dear All, have been reading alot about families moving from London to Salford. If the idea of city life doesnt appeal, try looking wider, we live about 20 miles SE of Manchester very close to Peak District, and it is a fabulous place - great primaries and secondaries and a good mix of state and independent schools, close community and lots going on indoor and outdoor. Property is reasonable, plenty of choice. Let me know if you want any further information - know of some decent housing for sale, too!
