Anyone recently got a mortgage from Northern Rock?

Gosh, I seem to be posting on mumsnet every five seconds at the moment.

We have ummed and ahhed a bit with our choice of mortgage provider, and then were messed around by the one we eventually chose for a bit longer....

So, we have now decided to apply to Northern Rock (we have an Agreement in Principle).

Just wondering whether anyone else had recently applied for a mortgage from NR, and if so, how long it was from full application being entered till decision made?

Reason I'm asking is because I think probate is about to be granted on the house we're buying and we better be ready to move otherwise the sellers will be cheesed off.
