We are currently selling our house and depending on what we get our limit for the next is about £300. Been looking online at a few houses priced at about 325-330. Would you consider looking at these or is a 10% under asking price offer too cheeky????

we've had to accept an offer 10% under (pretty reasonable!) asking price in order to get a sale... unfortunately none of the houses we've offered on would even take 5% under asking so we are still looking...

Look at the sort of house you would like to live in. Asking prices can vary a great deal, and vendors position/motivation for selling varies a great deal. I don't think looking at places 10-20% over what you're looking to pay is unreasonable. Depends where you are, of course.
Try the Propertybee.com toolbar which tells you how long a listing has been registered (works with RM and others), and always always check out sold prices of the house you're looking at and those in area around to inform yourself of region of 'value'.
