Fabric suggestions please!

I'm looking for some fabric for my kitchen (to have made into roman blinds). The kitchen isn't huge - 14' x 10' but it's quite light - we have 2 big windows, one is 95cm wide, the other 120cm (both 180cm deep).

The cabinets are F&B French grey and the Walls are cream. Worktops are black and floor is creamy / beige. All a bit bland / neutral so fabric can inject some colour (similar tones) or pattern. Quite like stripes but want the overall look to be contemporary but in keeping with a 1930s semi!!

Any suggestions gratefully received!!

Sounds like a job for an Ian Mankin stripe.

or more cheaply, IKEA - stripes e.g. Berit, Berta, Elisabet?

Neisha Crosland has some lovely fabrics. They might just strike the balance between traditional and contemporary.
