Anyone bought solid oak floor from Floors 2 Go?

We have been made a good offer at our local Floors 2 Go on some solid oak flooring, which we want to lay in our living/dining room and hallway. Having never had wood flooring before, I don't know what I should ask or look out for but have read on MN that I need to find out whether it is European Oak or Chinese oak. Is there anything else I need to watch out for? I'm scared to spend a lot of money and find out I've bought a load of crap

We bought Engineered wood flooring (Oak) from Floors2Go. So far, it's really good but it does scratch to be honest so you have to be prepared for that otherwise it could drive you mad! We had several guys come out and quote on laying it and all of them warned us off real wood flooring as it apparently can shrink once laid (news to us too!). Maybe worth getting people out to quote for the job then pick their brains whilst they are out - that's what we did and completely free advice :-) Not sure if this helps you... :-/
