Hi. I don't have any experience but is it a complaint about treatment by teachers or the handling of a situation (ie bullying)?

I think your school should have a complaints policy which you can request from them (they should definately have an anti-bullying policy that you can get hold of and highlight the points where they have been lacking if that is the case - my DH terrified our HT by referring to it at every possible opportunity when our DS was being bullied), if this isn't the case, start with the HT (if it's an issue with the class teacher - if you can approach the teacher start with them) then approach the Head of the Board of Governors and then contact your LEA. I would make notes of all points of contact and the outcome.

Hope someone who has experience comes along with clearer advice soon. Good luck.

if you have already talked to Teacher / Head, I woud write a letter of complaint to Head and Governors.
