Hi,

We are thinking of moving to reading with our daughters and are considering various schools. Can anyone give their thoughts on any of the following?

The Abbey, Crosfields or St Joseph's?

Thanks ??

Hi kiwimum4

We've got 2 very happy girls at the Abbey Junior School. It's a lovely, caring, happy school with great teachers and nice kids. There is a buzz when you wander round, the girls all seem to enjoy the learning and all the extra curricular activities too. I can't tell you much about the other two schools, other than children of friends seem mostly happy at both. Go for a tour of all three and see which will be the best fit for your daughters.

Good luck with your decision!

I agree with MrsOlf you need to go and look, it wasn't for my DD, but many are very happy.
I only know boys at St Joseph's and very sporty (national standard) boys at that.
Crosfields I don't know anyone there.
If you actually want to live in Reading, location of where you want to live will come into choices.
Currently Reading Bridge is closed and the chaos it is causing illustrates just how fragile the traffic situation is in Reading.
