Hello.

Does anyone have any children at Edge Grove. I have recently visited the school and was impressed by the pre prep area. I am aware of the headmaster situation.

Does anyone have children at the school, particularly middle school ? Feel free to message me. I would love to hear from you.

I am considering the school but would love some word of mouth. Also considering Orley and Quainton.

My child would need a nurturing school where the parents listen.

Also how much of a nightmare is the school run from Harrow ?

I would do a search on mumsnet. There are quite a few negative comments on Edge Grove. I would suggest looking around, there are so many lovely schools in that area.

Hi I did do a search and I saw one person writing multiple negative comments and the people I mailed individually were positive. I would love to hear any comments good or bad or PM me if you don't want to make it public.

Thanks

Emma

Hi, I am considering sending my DS to the school, did you choose it and how are you and child finding it. I am so confused with making a choose for my DS for reception next year. Help!

Hi all please can you give your advise my son has been offered a place at Edgegrove starting next Sept. We really like the school and much prefer it over Radlet prep but people have made comments that it is not very academic. Any opinions on this? Does anyone have any children that attend this school! Thanks

I have two children at Edge Grove and have been so happy with the school. The Headmaster has made so many positive changes and my children are definitely academically stretched. I have no worry at all that the school is not academic - far from it. It may have been like that in the past but not anymore. The school achieves very good results and the teachers know each child very well. It's a lovely school and the amazing facilities and grounds are a bonus!
