Im looking for a good primary school in tonbridge. Ideally i want it to be fairly near to the station if possible but not stuck on that point.
The ones im hoping will be decent are Sussex Road, St Stephens and The Slade but i really dont know anything about the schools in tonbridge. I have had a look at results tables but nothing is as good as a personal opinion from other mums if you ask me

Can't remember the geography, but I reckon Woodlands must be pretty good.

Yeah I thought so too. had a drive around and it seemed to me to be in the middle of an estate but I could be wrong. It is almost two miles from the station but if it so that much better than the rest it would be worth it. However, if I could get something similar nearer the station that would be perfect

I'm guessing it'd be over-subscribed.

I don't actually live in tonbridge at the moment but I'm looking at the best place to move to as far as schools, transport etc goes. It won't be until the new school year either so hopefully it should be ok?

If schooling is really important to you, then you need to do some serious research before you move.
Find out if there are waiting lists, who operates them (County, usually), and what their criteria are.
If distance is an issue, then move close. The new school year makes no difference; if the school's full, it's full.

I think Sussex rd and slade are generally considered better than st Stevens. R u aware that tonbridge is fully grammar/ high school for secondary?

My cousin is very pleased with her DS's primary school in Tonbridge, they seem to be particularly good with sports and music with lots of extracurricular activities.

I can't remember what the school is called but they have purple blazers and ties. Also not sure if it's state or private

Puple blasound likes like hilden oaks or hilden grange, both private. Purple jumper is I think st Stephens.
