Moulsford vs St Andrews

Hi, Does anyone have some commentary on the merits of Moulsford Prep School versus St Andrews, Pangbourne

No idea, except that Moulsford is fabulous at rugby- completely flattened ds's school!

The overall impression that I have is that their sports teams are very strong.

Moulsford's head a bit odd yet despite this (and being fairly old and having been there a long time) is still innovating. He said some weird things though when showing us round.

It appealed to me for DS, who is academic and sporty, also very good for dramatic arts, but we chose something closer to Oxford in the end.

Don't know St Andrews so can't compare.

St Andrews is lovely. In a previous life did some peripatetic work there and found the children interested and interesting in a way that suggested they had been encouraged to be curious, independent thinkers. Also liked the Head. I would love to send DS there but sadly no longer live close enough.

Don't know Moulsford- attractive grounds though!
