can someone please guide me on labelling things for preschool??

ds is starting ds and i need to label his clothes. we dont have a common surname so will just have that in it so i can use again for ds2. Firstly most of his tops dont have labels as i have to cut them out as they irritate his exzema so i was thinking about doing the iron in ones on the hem? Or can you put the on the 'collar' of a tshirt? Also can you put them on waist bands of trousers?

He is taking his own cup so have to label that too. Should i use permanent ink or get the stickers that supposedly stay on through washing up?

No idea where to start as is all new to me! Also where is the cheapest place to get these things all together? Oh and also will be labelling his little rucksack..

for his clothes why not buy a laundry pen instead so can write ti somewhere.
