What sort of mattress is the best?

Hi there, trying to buy a mattress ofr a second hand cot but baffled by the amount of choice, any help?

buy one that fits!

There is so much choice - but buy one to suit your budget....the most expensive matresses pray on worried first time mothers.

Never use a 2nd hand matress (though from sibling is ok)

Buy from a reputable company - will ensure you are buying a matress considered 'safe'.
