morning sickness remedies

So we all hear the obvious things that we are told to help morning sickness, but I wondered just how possible it is to reduce morning sickness just by doing all the natural bits like reducing stress (ie taking lots of naps, not working, medidation etc); lots of ginger; sniffing lemons; eating little and often; avoiding smells in general and wearing the accupressure things.

Has anyone actually found that doing all of these things really helps the nausea/vomiting? Has anyone managed to stop the vomiting from following steps like this? Any other hints and tips?

I feel I need some reassurance that if I do everything I can, I really could reduce morning sickness (I will religiously do all of the above if needed). Please don't scare me by telling me nothing works and I'm stuck feeling like this for another 2 months....my pregnancy related hormones will make me cry!

Vit B6

Keep hydrated (small, frequent sips of water)

And avoiding refined sugar were the most helpful things for me.

Oh, and avoid getting too tired, so rest as mush as you can.

In my experience everyone is different and some things do work for some people, so I would give everything a go. Nothing worked for me but then I have hyperemesis so medication is the only answer.

I'm never sure how much vit b6 to take - my tablets I've started are 10mg (500% rda) a day...but is this enough to help with morning sickness?

Hmmmm I took two tablets a day (I think I was only supposed to take one) and my wee turned quite strong and beefy.
