I had ds almost 4 years ago by emcs. I am now 4+6 weeks and I feel like my scar is a bit achey/sore. Has anyone else who had a cs had this with a subsequent pregnancy? I know my sister felt very sore around her scar at the end of her pregnancy but don't want to ask her as we haven't told anyone yet due to 2 previous mc's.

Thanks Kipper it would be nice but i actually have to wait 3 weeks to see the doctor to book in! I really think it's the usual periody cramps but I think i am over thinking it! Fingers crossed it's a good one.

Hi Roulade, I had dd by elective cs four and a half years ago. I found that at the start of this pregnancy my scar was a bit sore. Also, if if moved suddenly I sometimes felt a painful tugging at scar.

I'm 27 weeks now and haven't felt it in many weeks.

Thanks yama, I just need the next 7 weeks to go as quickly as possible I think as I know I will be stressing about every little thing everyday!

Yes, the first 12 weeks go so slowly don't they?

I'm now at the moany, fat stage - jealous of everyone drinking beer and cider in the lovely sunshine.

Good luck.

Hi roulade I had DS by EMCS in Jan 2007, now 19wks pg with DC2 and my scar has been burning a bit, I don't think it's anything to worry about if it's not that painful. All the best.

I'll be having my 4th section this time, (not by choice!) and I have to say that the scar does 'pull' each time the bump starts growing, but I just guess that's part and parcel of having sections!
