Hope things are going well for you. Are you coping alright?
I lost my baby at 21 weeks and think I may be pregnant again two months later. Have my fingers crossed bug time but am also very anxious. I can't got through the loss again.

Congratulations Bigmuther, I'm really pleased to hear your news, I remember you from the mc threads as I had a mmc in Jan.

I am 8 weeks pregnant again and am also really, really nervous!! There are a couple of nice threads around for support in pregnancy after miscarriage, if you'd like to drop in on one of them?

It's totally understandable for you to feel anxious after what you went through (I think your little boy was Charlie?). It is hard to enjoy it the same way, but Cazzy is right, you have the same chance as everyone else of having a successful pregnancy and the odds are on our side.

Would it be possible to get an early scan to check things are progressing ok before you get to 12 weeks? I had one at 7+3 weeks, I found it very reassuring (although I know that's not for everyone, and of course I am back to worrying about it now).

In the meantime, there are lots of ladies around here who have been sitting where you are, it is a really long wait so stick with us and we can wait it out together

Good luck!!

xxx

Hi Bigmuther, I think I've spoken to you before too, I also had a mc in November at 15 weeks, and am now 15 weeks again (16 tomorrow)
The early days were okay, I have found the last couple of weeks the hardest, with it being the same time again, but I've had a successful scan and been to see the midwife today and heart the baby's heartbeat, so for the first time in 4 months, I'm feeling much happier.
I didn't thing I could cope again either, but just take it a day at a time. I had to tell myself if it was destined to be okay it would be, and as has been mentioned, your risk of it happening again is no higher than anyone elses.
As goodluckbear says, there is a lovely thread on pg after mc, do join us when you feel ready.
And congratulations! xxx

BigMuther Huuuuuuge congratulations for you!!!! (I was on the Aug thread as Kaylo)

And twins too - massive huge gigantic congrats

I'm sure you will be ok. I m/c in September although I was only 6 weeks. When I fell pregnant again with this little one I was convinced it would all happen again - I took it a week at a time and set little goals.
Getting past 6 weeks was the first goal, then past 12 weeks, then 16 weeks and so on....

Try and enjoy your pregnancy

They have separate rooms starshaker secretly hoping i will have one of each flavor, but would be more than happy with 2 boys or 2 girls. If all goes well this will be my last pregnancy as that will put my total up to 4 DC my limit i think

Twins - fantastic news!! I'm one of 4, the youngest two being twins, they were (and still are of course!) a brilliant addition to the family. No-one has to be the baby/youngest!!

I hope it is all completely uneventful from here on, very, very best of luck and congratulations again!!
